Home in Hungary Again!

Wow. I officially skipped 2 months of posting on the blog. I wonder whatever happened to that urge to blog I used to get. I'm almost forcing myself at the moment to sit down and write and catch my oh-so-faithful-few blog readers up to speed.

Summer Time
I fit a lot into the couple of months I was home with my family. I was able to do several photo shoots to help earn my keep as well as sell my *two cars. (What an answer to prayer!) The week before returning to Hungary I made a trip out to Oregon and Washington to visit friends and family and attend a missions conference. Just what I needed to get pumped and ready for heading back to Hungary!

I arrived back September 16th and have jumped right into ministry here as the school year was already in full swing. I'm now living in the city of Gyor, rather than the village. I am helping missionaries, Larry, Melinda, Vivian, and Marcus with Bible studies and outreach to the University students. I'm also going to teach a couple classes in the village where I was last year--I'm so thankful I can keep those contacts.

I love living here. I have such joy being in the center of God's will for me. I love being able to focus on ministry full time. Its something I don't take for granted. I've been commended several times for "sacrificing so much to be on the mission field". But I just can't help but be persuaded in myself, that actually, I have it so much easier than those people who are living their every day lives, supporting their families, doing what needs to be done, and even supporting people like me. I feel blessed to be the one serving without distraction, focused on missions, when I know lots of people whose heart is ministry who feel confined by their schedules, location, or just circumstances where God has them. Just pray for me that I would take full advantage of this opportunity to spend my time so freely on making Jesus known. That I would use my time wisely and not take lightly the work I'm called to do here. THANK YOU for your prayers. THANK YOU for your kind support. God has been faithful to me!

*edit: its a long story why I had two cars, but they were both old cars that shouldn't be left being un-driven for 10 months at a time
